HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. This week at His Majesty's Theatre. Messrs. Fuller will submit a new programme of outstanding merit. The head 7 liner is the Five Manchurians. This act has recently been playing to enormous houses in 'Auckland, and press and public alike . were unanimous in their verdict, that it is a most wonderful acrobatic and most gorgeously staged turn. They are said to even outrival the famous Banzai Family. This act was booked by Mr. Ben .). Fuller'on his recentAmerican tour. It was then amazing all America, and is expected to have the same effect in New Zealand. Second in order of novelty comes the Lampinis, two comedy illusionists whose great American successes were also the reasons for Mr. Fuller securing them for his Antipodean audiences. Alsaco and Lorraine appear with their refined and beautifully presented novelty musical act. A popular favourite in the person of Mr. Dan Thomas, who has just concluded an Australian engagement as the Dame in the "Cinderella" pantomime, will make hie re-appearanco before local audiences. The Raleigks, "The Singing Laundry Maid and the Tramp on the Clothes Line," will make their first bow; and last, but not least, Mr.-Victor Princo and his Rcvusical Comedy Coy., will produce a new revue entitled "Oh, What Fun."

THE KING'S THEATRE. This evening William H. Crane will make his first motion-picture debut -in Edward Hayes Westcott's widely-read: and favourite story, "David Harum," presented by the Famous Players Company in threo acts. Mr. Crane's excellent .portrayal of the genial and quaint old hero of this masterpiece is said to Be one of the very best examples of oharacter.'/work. He is supported. in the play by the well-known photo-play stars, Harold Lockwood and May Allison. The fundamental prinoiples of the story are said to be strictly in accordance with the author's work, and the scenes and photography are described as brilliant in effect_and accomplishment, so this production should ensure a feature play of unusual merit. Other pictures on the. programme included: "The Battlefield of .Nueve Chapelle," war topical; "The Bathe Gazette," war topical; "River Life Near Paris," a scenic of interest; and "Cartoons in a Sanatorium," comedy. "THE WARNING." From noon to-day there will be screened at Everybody's Theatre the remarkable five-act Equitable-World feature film, "The Warning," which created a powerful impression in Australia, and more recently in Auckland, by its unusual and forcible story of the fight.and failure of a man over his evil self, and for tho startling aftermath of the vision of Heaven and Hell in his soul, revealed, it is said, in, an artistic but dramatio fashion. Tho conclusion of tho picturethat following the death of Dcnman—is a great surprise,, and, it is claimed, shows the possibility of the motion picture in thundering out a message which is more than a moral lesson—a practical demonstration. Henry Koiker, the wellknown actor, is said to give a powerful rendering of tho leading rolo. The Gailmont Graphic and other films will also be. shown. EMPRESS THEATRE. The stirring spectacular drama, "Alsace," with the world-renowned star, Madame Rejaue, in tho leading role, will be presented, at. the Empress Theatre this morning. It is described as a pow-erfully-constructed patriotic play, iu which the love of a mother for her-sou and for her country forms the theme. The story abounds- in very exciting situations, arid has a thrilling climax. ' Critics speak of the performance of Madame Rejano as being one of the finest performances that has ever been shown in photo-plays. Tho supporting programmo is a varied one,- and includes a. clever comedy drama, ' in which Marguerite Courtet is starred; "The Sealskin Coat," and a Morca Chaplin cartoon, "Charlie, the Chef," a pretty travel scenic, and the latest animated news film, "Topical Budget." ALLEN DOONE SEASON. V Mr. Allen Doone,' who has recently returned from America, , has reorganised his company, and will commence a-' season in.Wellington at the Grand Opera House in "O'Leary,; V.C.,",0n Saturdav next. Mr. Doone. is favourably known as a capable delineator of light Irish character,] and his sweet singing of the simple Irish melodies has endeared him to many playgoers who favour the class of entertainment he provides. The plans for the coming season will be opened at the Bristol Piano Company ou Wednesday morning. ' .' THE PINK DANDIES. The Pink Dandies made their final appearance at the Goncort Chamber on Saturday. Their season here must have been a successful one, for they have been popular, and' their performances have been well patronised. "MOTHER GOOSE." In spite of the heavy rain on' Saturday afternoon and evening a large number turned out to witness tho last performance in Wellington of the "Mother Goose pantomime. The' entertainment went with a lively swing throughout.
