Siuco the outbreak of the war the following members of tho Hnwke's Bay District Club have enlisted for active service, and with ono or two exceptions have seen aetivo sorvice. Copkroft; SurgeonCapts. J. Leahy, H. I'. Bornuu, and E. Boxer; Capts. W. H. Jones, W. l'rasor, T. B. Bax, A. M. Brodie, I/. M'Lernon (killed in action), and E. G. Harotou; Lieuts. L. .Tardine, R. Lo Quesnc,- E. S. Pitt, E. H. Beamish, C. S: Geddis, P George, L. F. Jones, H. E. Cross, R. L Anderson, W. G. Wood, A. S. Tonkin, J. W. Sneddon, E. Morgan, Richard Hawkins, T. Grace (killed in action), and W. H. Seoon.
