A number of Manawatu farmers have provided 2200 sheep, for disposal by art union. Tiokets aro now for palo at the modest sum of one shilling each. The prizes ■ amount to ,£2200, the first being 1000. good sheep. And overy ticket has a chanco in two hundred and fifty prizes. Sheep are easily disposed of,theso times at prices ranging, irom ;£1 to <£1 10s. a hoad.
