ALLEGED THEFT OF.TRUST HONEY. By Telegraph—i-'ress Assowc.ticn. Palmerston f/orth, June 30. William Tosswill, a Pahiatua solicitor, who has .been residing at Palmerston North for a fortnight, wa.s arrested yesterday on two charges of alleged theft of trust moneys. He appeared at the Police Court this morning, when- Detective Quirk said that the charges against the accused were that, about July 10, 1910, lie did steal .£IBO, ,the property of Selina Boxall; that, on July 10, 1913, he did steal also the property of Boxall. Detective Quirk said that a- number of other serious charges would also be preferred against the accuse!. The police applied for a remand to Pahiatua, anil this was granted, bail in ,£2OO being allowed.
