A report from Berlin states t:.nt Dr. Karl Liebknecht (tho German Socialist leader) has been sentenced to two and a half years' penal scrvitudo and dismissal from tho army for attempted nigh treason, and gross insubordination aad resistance to the authorities. Tho Court sentenced him to the lowest penalty admissible, believing that Dr. Liebnecht was not guided by dishonest feeling, but by political fanaticism.
