By Telegraph— Assoehlij. l. Christchurch, June 28. There was a small entry of stock, especially of beef and store sheep. The yardiug of fat sheep wa<s not so heavy as at the three* preeedjng sales. There was an advauce in beef, the yarding being of excellent quality. Fat lambs were very firm at late rates, "as were also storo sheep. IV- sheep were irregular, but on the whole firmer. Quotations:—Lambs, mixed eexes. 15s. 2d. to 225. 4d.; wether lamb's, 14s. lOd. to 19s. BTJU2CSIDE MARKET. . Dunedin, June 23. At Burnside to-day 200 fat cattle were yarded. The quality was medium to good, and the entry was in excess of requirements. Prices dropped 10s. to £1. Extra prime bullocks, £2b 17e. 6d.; prime, £15 10s. to £18; medium, £13 to £14 17s. 6d.; light, £9 10s. to £12 ss.;'extra, prime cows, heifers, £21; prime, £13 10s.«to £15 10s.; medium, £10 10s. to £12 10s.; light and inferior, £7 10s. to £9 10s. , l*at sheep: 2913 penned. The bulk were oiedium sorts. As a result of competition by freezing buyers, prices were steady at last week's rates. L'stra prime wethers. : 425. 6d.; prime, 345. 6d. to 385.: medium, 275. to 315.; light, 235. to 265. 6d.; extra prime ewes. 435. 6d.; prime, 31s. to 365.; good. 2fis. to 2Bs. M.; light and medium, Ids. od. to 225. fid. Lambs: 2600 penned. ' The quality on the whole was good. Export burors wero operating freely, and prices were firm at late rates. Extra prime, 325. 6d.; prime, 245. to 285.; medium to good, 20s. to 235.; light and unfinished, 15s. 6d. to 18s. 6d. Pigs: ;There was a fair yardine of porkers, and baconers were in good demand. • Stores sold fairly well, whilo suckers and slips realised advanced prices.
