A sum of ,£SOO was voted by the Wellington Harbour Board last eyonin'g to the general fund .for tbo dependants cf thoso who have lost their' lives in, naval engagements tho war. Mr. C. E. Daniell (chairman of the board) moved the .vote, and said that the British victory at tho Battle of Jutland, brought homo' the worth of tlie Navy to us. - Mr. R.
