At last evening's parade of the Petone Unit of the National Keserve, Lieut. Anderson was the O.C. Kergt. Smith instructed the platoon in squad drill, and members were reminded that pnrades in future would be held on Tuesday evenings, commencing next week. It may have been accidental, but it wti9 certainly comical, whenjts the accompaniment to a picture sliown. at the Town Hall last evening, depicting some of our soldiers in Egypt cutting up onions for dinner, the pianist should havo played the old English air, "Drink to , Me Onlj- With Thine Eyes."
