On Thursday a shooting mntch was held :at the I'otone Working Mod's Club rifie range, between teams representing the : Wellington Harbour Hoard and tho local club.. Tho visitors, who won tho event by 33 points, attributo their success to the superiority of the gun used }>y them. TIIO scores were as follow:— Harbsur , Board.—Forbes, 69; Waters, G7; lid wards, GfJ; Seagar, G6; Russell, 66; Costley, 65; C. Prince, .65; H. Prince, .63; Baldwin, G3; Jl'Donald, 60. Total—6so. Pet'one Working Men's Club.—Forsyth, 69; Stickells, 68; Lepper, 6-t; Campbell, 63; Balo, 62; Phare, 62; Childs, 60; Richardson, 58; Senior, 58; Stewart, 53. Total—6l7. The visitors were afterwards hospitably entertained by the club team.
