Sir,—l read with . amusement 11 r. "Honesty's" letter appearing in you-. - issue of the 20th ultimo.' Does Mr. "Honesty" in his hysterica! excitement and annoyance at lbs possibility of tho teachers ami Public Service generally partieipaling in a war bonus in common with several other bodies, expcct tho public, to take his wild letter at all seriously, when ho imlulue's in sucli (,'ross inaccuracies? In his feverish anxiety to fire oil the old hoodium cry of Government stroke' at the teachers and Public Service, he ignores facts and makes the wildest and silliest allegations. If his letter is a sample of his "honesty" and logic, although he may not be suffering from his imaginary Government stroke, it would appear that he is suffering from the clTects of a "stroke" of a far moro serious nature.—l am, etc., I'WCT ONLY.
