Sir,—Ed letter signed "AY.51." in your journal of to-day, with regard to the evil' of "double-baniun°" on motor-cycles, with its attendant danger to life and limb. The Wellington City Council with advantage follow the lead which Christ-church has given, and make it an oll'ence for any two persons to : rida on the one' motor-oycie together. If siich a by-law were.necessary in a.flat city like' Chri«tchurch, : with its fine streets, it should be doubly .necessary on tho narrow streets and roads .within am: : around our Empire City.—l aiivefe..
