Delegates suggested that steps should be taken to compel landlords to keep their buildings renovated proporly. It was disgraceful to see how many houses woro done up; they wore an absolute menace to tho public health. 0110 delegate said that all painters should bo registered, then they would have more power to deal with matters in the interests of the public.
