ITALIAN CAMPAIGN
LIVELY FIGHTING IN LEDRO VALLEY The High Commissioner reports:— London, June '22, 3.30 p.m. An Italian communique of yesterday says:—Tho enemy attacked our positions at Ledro Valley, on the southern slopes of Mount Sperone. There wbb lively fighting, and the enemy was completely repulsed. Yesterday, at Lake Garda and Avico there. wero artillery skirmishes, in the course of which we took rifles, ammunition, ond-a machine-gun. On the Asiago Plateau, with the exception of small attacks towards Mount Magnobo6chi and Mandrielle, the enemy was strictly on the defensive, strongly resisting the Italian advance.
