Dr. M'Nab ex- : plained that the matter.'was not in his ;,{Department, but under the province of ./the Minister of Lands. He would -bring the matter under the Minister of Lands' observation. The time was not •far distant when Palmerston would be a .great city, and recreation-grounds must be provided for futuro generations.
