Te mine manager of tho Hauraki Reefs reports, for the week ending Juno 16 as follows:—Stoping has been in band over the No. 3 level during -the past week, and good -general dirt was. obtained, also a few pounds of picked stone. Tho No. 3 level face was.further extended', and tho reef and country : continue ■ most favourable. In the ■ Wynyardton workings tho face Koing east is showing a most likclylooking reef in good country. The crosscut from tho intermediate- level to cut, tho reef is well out, and we are expecting the quartz to open up at any moment. Machinery taken caro of lasts twice as long.
