NOTICE OF SPECIAL'ORDER, NOTICE is hereby-given that at a Special, Meeting of' the Wellington City Council, held, on the Ist day of Juno, 1916, the following resolution was passed: , • "The Wellington City Council hereby makes by Special Order the following By-law under and by, virtue of and in exercise of and in pursuance of the powers vested.in it by. the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and its Amendments, and by the regulations made by the Gov. crnor dated 16th September, 1907, and published in the .New Zealand Gazette of 19th September, 1907, and under and ;by virtue of and,in exercise and in pur. suance of all other powers and authorities enabling it in that behalf." The Short Title of the By-law is "Tho Wellington City By-law No. 26 (MilkControl), 1916." • The objects and purpose of the By-law are:— , ....'.....,, (1) To enable the Council to control i , the Tnilk supply of the City. '■'.'. (2) To appoint Inspectors of Milk and Dairies in the City and to prescribe their powers and duties. (3) To provide for the taking of samples of milk and the testing of such ' samples.
