The meeting resolved,to form a society with the. object of /providing' funds for and organising a Returned Soldiers' Club on the lines proposed by the.Returned Soldiers' Association., It was decided to elect a committee for the pur- ' poses of management, 'to consist of six citizens and six returned discharged soldiers, representing the Returned Soldiers' Association. ■■'■'

Messrs. E. D. Bell, Alex. Gray, James .Macintosh,' C. E. Smith, and J. A. Sim-son,-were elected as the interim 'Committee.
