FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT i P.M. YESTERDAY, Present indications are for strong; west to south-west winds northward of Cook Strait, and south to south-easterlies elsewhere. Weather cloudy and misty, with rain probable generally, and barometer rising everywhere soon. A cycloffiio disturbance is now centred off tho West Coast of the t South Island', and variable and strong winds have prevailed, with dull, misty, and showery conditions generally. ■ Another area of low pressure is apparently developing to tho westward, and. is likely to modify the winds in the rear of the present disturbance.
