llome-grpwn.—Market insufficiently supplied, aim prices are highest on record. Business still interfered with through irregular deliveries from railways. - Frozen.—The releases from the Government, were about 50 per cent, greater this week than of late'. The increased quantity was readily, absorbed, but no higher prices were made; although buyers wero quite willing to' pay more if they could secure quantities. The chief demand was for- lambs, as usual at Easter, and these constituted the bulk of the offerings: Ewe mutton, as well as wether, is very short. There is still 1 , no good frozen beef, and this, combined with the deamess .of Home-grown, has .enabled chilled to make high values' April 20, 'April 14, - 1916; -3916.
