Y.W.C.A. NOTES.
The speaker at the Sunday service at the Young Women's Christian Association will be Miss' Williams, who has been appointed assistant-secretary to the Wellington Association. The service is at 4.15 at tho club rooms, Fowlds's. Buildings, Herbert Street, and all girls and young women will be warmly welcomed. A special tea at the Y.W.C.A. club rooms was given last Thursday evening to .welcome the new mombers who had joined-for social or educational purposes, or for the use of the lunch-room and hostels. The membership committee .arrange theso meetings monthly, to give tho new members thu opportunity, oi meeting together. A special meeting for members is to be held at the Y.W.C.A. club Tooms next Thursday at 8 p.m. Plans for extending the work o fthe association will be placed before 'the members.. The Hon. J. Or .W. Aitketi will preside and Miss Williams, the newly-appointed'secretary, will be welcomed. ...... • .
Mesdaines W. A.. Fordham 'and. S. Brice, the hostesses who were in charge at the Soldiers' Club on Thursday cvenimr. wish to thank Messrs. G. and C. Aldous for a donation of cigarettes which were greatly appreciated. ,
