Wedding in Terrace Congregational Church. 'A.pretty wedding 'took placo on AVednesday, J uno 11, at The Terrace Congregational Church, when Miss Constanco Douglas, youngest daughter of Mrs. G. Douglas, Sydney Street, was married to Mr. G. H. Pickin, second son of Mrs. C. A. Pickin, Johnsonville. Tho ceremony was performed by tho Rev. Reed-Glasson, and Miss Lankshear played the organ. The bride, who was given away by her mother, wore a gown of cream crepe do chine, the bodice draped with lace. Tho veil was arranged over a wreath of orangij blossom, and she carried a bouquet of v: Into''roses and maiden-hair fern. Miss Gilchrist attended as bridesmaid, wearing a frock of palo pink cloth and black hat, and curried a, bouquet of pink heath and roses. Mr. Mills acted as best mail. Tho mother of tho brido wore a tailored costume of black satin, and pretty black hat. Mrs. 0. A. Pickin wore a brown costume and hat to match. After tho ceremony a reception was held at Godber's, Courtenay Place. The bridegroom's gift to tho brido was a diamond ring, and tojhe bridesmaid a pearl and ruby ring, later tho brido and bridegroom left for a tour of the North Island, 'tho former wearing a brown gabardine costume trimmed with fur, and hat to match.

Wedding at Kelburn. At St. Michael's Clnirch, Kelburn, yesterday afternoon, Miss .Koto Ellison, daughter of ex-Superintendent J. W. Ellison, was married to Sergeant E. M. C. Burr (F Company, 15th Reinforcements), son of Mr. E. A. Burr. Tho wedding was a quiet one, only the relatives and a few old friends of the bride , and bridegroom being present. The Rev. A. W. Payne officiated. Tho, brido wore ' a :|Cream cloth costume with crepe ilo chine hat, and carried a bouquet of white toses and freesias. Tho bridesmaid (Miss Winnie Ellison) wore a cream cloth costume, and carried a pale pink bouquet of heath. Sergeant Armstrong (15th Reinforce; ments) was best man. The guests were, subsequently entertained by Mr. and Mrs. Ellison. In proposing the health of the bride and bridegroom, Mr. Payne referred to the fact that the bridegroom would soon be leaving for .the front, and wished him God-speed and a safe return. Salvation Army Changes. After eleven years as matron of the Wellington (Salvation . W.C.T.U. Resolutions. At a largely-attended meeting of the Wellington Central W.C.T.U., held, in the Y.iU.CJ.i. rooms yesterday, Mrs. A. 11.
