DRIVERS' UNION AWARD
BIG CASE W CHEISTCHURCH. By Telegraph—Press Association.Christchurch, Juno 10. A big case' is proceeding' at the Arbitration Court to-day. ■ The Drivers' Union is asking for an award. About 250 employers are concerned. The Court reserved decision on the point of whether laundry drivers for the Magdala Home should be exempted, on the ground that the home is not making profit. The main lines of-the case are an application for an all-round increase to j£S a week. Tho Court adjourned to consider Iho point of t!w award affecting both unions in Wiristchurcii.
