NEW LIGHT' FOK OIiOBI POINT. Mariners are notified that the new automatic Ago. acetyleno flashing Jight now being erected by the Marine Department on ukuri Point, is nearing completion, and will be exhibited on aim after Saturday, Juue 24. The light is erected on a rocky knoll about 80 feet above high water mark on the 'south end ot the point. From this position the, French Pass lights are open, and a vessel will have Okuri light in view when passing these lights. It is cut oil by ths land a littlo inside of Hock Cod Point. Tile light will show a white Hash of 3scc., followed by a 3seo. eclipse, all round the horizon,' except where it is cut off by the land, and with the further exception ot * small red arc over the I'iego (Beef' Barrel ltocks) from 176deg. (south 20Jdeg.,' east magnetic) to 203dcg. (south 6ideg. west magnetic). The light should bo visible for about six miles.
