FOUND DEAD IN BED,

• A woman named Mary Elizabeth Stark was found dead in bed at 178 'Wellington 'Urraus nl about B.M a.m. yesterday. Tho cause of death was not known up till lute yesterday afternoon. At 0.15 p.m. on Monday deceased was soon nt tho Salvation Army Barracks in Vivian Street, arid at that time she appeared to be in her usual state of health. She was observed/going into her room a little later, arid nothing more was heard of her till yesterday morning. Deceased was a young woman, about 35 years of age, and : had been in the service of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Anderson, of 178 Wellington Terrace, for- the past fourteen years. Mrs. T. Browne,' residing in'Lucknow Street, Wairoa, Hawke's flay, is a sister, and Mrs. Stark, residing in Sutherland Road, Napier, is a'sister-in-law of deceased. An inquest will/be held to-morrow. THE TARANAKI STREET ACCIDENT.; Victor Emmanuel Scoiillar, who was accidentally killed in Taranaki Street on Monday night, under,circumstances which were reported in yesterday's Dominion, resided with his father at. 17 Tasman Street. Deceased was still breathing immediately. after, the accident, but life whs extinct when Dr. Martin arrived. An inciuest will be held to-morrow.
