Ono of the members of the deputation of milk vendors which waited on His Worship the Mayor 011 Monday (Mr. Toner) was credited with having said that ho was not at all satisfied with things as they were at present. Mr. Tozer states that what ho actually said was that he was not satisfied with the inspection .of carts. Mr. Tozer was also credited with saying: "Employers should not be allowed to break down cream—they should have to seal it do\yn." Ho states that what'ho said was that as employers are allowed to break down cream, it should be sealed' up, and if the labels were broken, the men should be held to blame.
