FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications arc for modcrato 1o strong and increasing northerly winds and a falling barometer everywhere shortly. Fair hutl warmer "weather is likely in the East Coast districts, but increasing cloud and mistiness is probable generally, and rain soon in the West Coast and southernmost districts. Tho {veather has continued lino generally, but cloudy conditions have rulod in tile northernmost and southernmost districts. Strong easterly ivinds have prevailed northward of Kawliia and East Cape, and variablo breezes elsewhere.
