Pure. Pride's dam ,is Pride of Dalmeny 16th, by Ebbero, bred by Sir George M'Pherson ■ Grant, and used as chief stock bull for many years by Lord Rosebery. . . > The selection from ■ the Harviestown .herd' is a . particularly well-bred Trojari Erica, Eunice of Harviestown, by Prido 'of the Wassail. Sign 2nd is by the Blackbird; sire Black Jackin of BallindollacK, and is probably the, first of the Blackbird, family introduced into New Zealand, and as experts ■ know is the strain which is most in demand by breeders in both North and South America at tho present time. These additions, together with tho re. cently-imported bull Quality of Maisemere, from the herd of Mr. T. T. Cridlan, of Smithfield famo, will strengthen the Gwavas herd immensely. ,
