General Northey reports that the British columns crossed'the Nyassaland-Ger-ir.sn East Africa frontier on May 25, and pursued the- enemy as far as Neutengule, capturing prisoners and stores. The garrison sortied on iTuiio 2, and suffered heavy casualties, many of them being taken prisoners, including the •' commandant.
