A Turkish official communique claims:—"Wo drovo tho Russians from positions in the Caucasus on a front extending for fourteen kilometres (8 3-smiles) and chased him eight kilometres (about 5 miles). "We occupied positions on the Mairam Range, dominating the,enemy's left wing, and captured muclv munitions. The enemy's detachments which were seeking to save their guns were killed. "Seven of tlio enemy's ships bombarded Kuscheada and the coast eastward causing a fire," ' '
