TAHITI AND MAUNGANUI'S DRAFTS DUE to-day: - The ■Wellington and .northern sections of the drafts of returned soldiers, who arrived at Port. Chalmers from Egypt the day before yesterday, will arriyo here this morning from the south, and will bo accorded u civic welcome at the Town Hall at 10 a.m. to-day. Yesterday the Mayor (Mr. J. .'P. Luke) received the following telegram from the Mayor of Port Chalmers (Mr. M'Nauglit): "The following returning soldiers, ex Tahiti und Mwiganui, leaving Dunedin at 11.53 a.m. to-day for Wellington:— 60 for Auckland district, 33 for Wellington City, 86 for Wellington district: total, 129. • Wellington. City group—Quarter-master-Sergeaut D. W. Manterton (cot case for Wellington. Hospital),, Major C, E. Neale;- Captains (Dr.) Elizabeth Gunn. and R. D. Elliott, Sisters (nurses) T. Butler, K. Welch, Staff-Sergeant A. H. Coward and J. K. Leys, Sergeants W. M. Thomson, E. P. Davidson, W. P. Connors, M. B. SutclifEe, and J. Black, Corporals D. E. M'Dougall, 0. M.
