The gathering of Freemasons held at Featherslon on Thursday last was presided over by Liout.-Colonol Adams, O.C. Feathers ton Camp, and in addition to those already mentioned as being present was R.A\. Bto. Newcombe, adjutant at Featherston Camp.
Hie greatest distance the human voice has been heard is said to be 18 miles, this record being held by the grand canyon of the Yellowstone Park, America.
