FINE CAR PAINTING
MR. .J. JENKINSON'S WORK,
A- trade which requires considerable skill and practice, and demands great care and thoroughness is ■ that' of motorcar painting and enamelling.
To satisfy oneself that this work can bo done in Taranaki to the highest degree of excellence one should visit the establishment of Air. Joseph Jenkinson, Brougham Street, New Plymouth. Many Taranaki people will remember the old Brougham Street Hall, and it is in that building that Mr. Jenkinson's works are.
Tliis week 1 a number of cars ivere undergoing renovation, in the works—a Pratt, an Overland, three Oaklands, a Dodge, and a Cadillac. Several were in nn advanced stage—well on toward completion. The two most forward were the Oakland cars of Messrs. Andrew Smith and E. Nopps. Mr. Smith's car, done in all white, was a remarkably line, advertisement for the renovator; and Mr. Nopps's car, done in the AVolsley ear colour, is an equally fine piece of work. The leather on both" is done with special loatlier dressing. Mr. Jenkinson is so well satisfied with the fine finish of these cars that lie has decided to exhibit them at tho Taranaki show next week. Mr. Jenkinson has the stock and the stalf to do this class of work to perfection., and some of the most perfect examples. of the painter's art liavo been turned out by his establishment.
