SPINAL MENINGITIS

ANOTHER CASE AT EEATHERSTON. • One of the suspected cases at Eeatherston Camp has proved to be cerebrospinal meningitis. ■ • In making this announcement to a reporter, Surgeou-Genoral Henderson, Di-rector-General of Medical Services, said that tho patient was making good progress. l'lie other remaining case sliowed some improvement. This made thesixth ca6o of cerobro-spinal meningitis that had occurred at Eeatherston Camp during the past five months, and of these there had been two deaths. .Trentham Camp was quite free of the trouble. There had, as a matter of fact, been only two cases of cerebro-spinal meningitis at Trentham since the epidemic of last year—one in September Ovhich recovered) and one in December last, which died.
