ICwangsu was favourite, and looked a sure winner, but two hundred yards from the post Fefinella came up t on the rails and won an exciting fijiish by a neck in the last few strides. •A head separated 6econd and third. The King's horse, Friar Marcus (Cicero —Prim Nun) won .tlie Chesterfield Handicap from Vaniteland Queen of tho Seas. |In tho One .Thousand Guineas, run carlior in the month, Fifinella ran second to Canyon.
