In the House of Commons, Mr. Asquitil— stated that martial law would continue in Ireland as a precaution. He hoped its disappearance would be speedy and completo. It would be resorted to only in urgent cases. A SINN FEIN LEADER SENTENCED (Rec. May 31, 9 p.m.) CorTdon, M*iy 3J. John MacNeill, president of the Sinn Fein Volunteers, has been sentenced U) penal servitude for life for his complicity in the rebellion.
