SULTAN A FUGITIVE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, May 80. Official.—A further report confirms the completeness of the victory over Sultan Darfur. All the Sultan's beat troops and. commanders participated. Most of the latter have been accounted for or have surrendered. The disarmament of the tribesmen is proceeding satisfactorily. Severaf thousand rifles and much ammunition wye surrendered. Our aeroplanes the day after the battle bombed a large bofly fleeing from El Rasher with the Sultan, Ali Din Ar. The latter, when last seen, had only 300 followers. They are facing a 38 hours' journey over a waterless desert towards Gebel Marra. ' A DUSKY /"INGRATE." (Eec. May 31, 10.50 p.m.) London, May 31. Sultan Ali Din Nar, of C3nur, was a prisoner of the Madhi in 1895, but was released by Kitchener after Omdurman, and ascended his throno in 1899.
