REDUCING THE OUTPUT OF BEER

Jn the Houso of Commons the Bill to reduce the output of beer by 15 per cent, lias been read a second time. The purpose of the Bill is to reduce the calls upon shipping in connection with the import of hops and malt, which is forbidden except under license.
