STIRRING SCENES IN LONDON By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright ' (Rec. May 30, 8.40 p.m.) London, May 30. There were stirring scones at Whitehall on the calling up of tho married men between tho ages of 27 and 35. Most of them are strong, healthy, and vigorous, and all were in the best of spirits, as though glad their turn- had come, and they knew just where they were. The men were allowed a choico of artillery or infantry. / The married men up to 41 years of age will be called up on June 13. Many of the women are replacing their husbands, who have devoted the recent weeks tp training their wives and others for starting on munition work. Many wives, with children, have been forced to break up their homes, returning to their parents.
