HOSPITAL BOARD APPOINTMENT.
„ ® ir ,>r lu - yol, r, 'l 3 "® . of yesterday I notice a letter signed by A. il. Donaldson, in which, is ventilated the grievance of a discnarged soldier who was an unsuccesstul applicant for the position, of dispenser to the Wellington .Hospital. As I hap-' pen to have the same surname as the writer of the letter in question, and having been for several years in the employ of _ Jn\ George Mee I am more or less well known in Dlmrmaceutical circles in Wellington, consequently the publication ol the letter in question is calculated perhaps to do me harm. The fact that I am a discharged soldier has led 6ome peoplo to infer that I am the applicant in whereas as a matter of fact l am not the person mentioned by your correspondent, nor am I in any way connected with the writer of the letter in yesterday's issue of your paper.—l am, etc.,' ■ . „„ B.R.DONALDSON.
