At the British Broken Hill Company's meeting, Mr. Smith Winby, the cliairman,thought the shareholders should agree that not a ton of the company's productions should ever again be sold to a German firm. The company submitted a statement/to Mr. Hughes in regard to Australia's re* ported prohibition of the export of load concentrates, and he was examining tho matter closely. The chairman had great confidence that the company would. d» fairly treated and be. allowed to establish themselves in the United Kingdom.
