Expect cold and changeable conditions generally and pain, especially in. the northern and East Ooaat dis- ,, tricts of the North. Island, and also about Fdveaux Strait. Barometer Tinsteady, but. probably rising again ' shortly. . , .... Strong north-easterly winds have ruled northward of Auckland, and south-easterly breezes have predominated elsewhere. Tho barometer is Still high, but lias shown a. decreasing tendency to-day. The weather has been cenerally overcast ni!A humid, \Yith drizzlins showers, particularly in tile northern, and East Coast districts o£ tho North Island.
