DENTAL ASSOCIATION
CONFEUENCE CONCLUDED. _The eleventh annual conference of the New Zealand Dental Association was concluded yesterday. , After considerable discussion a resolution was passed favouring tho institution of a diploma ill dentistry in New Zealand of a slightly lower standard than tho present Ba'chelor of Dental .Science degree. A defence fund for members of the association was established. Tho following: office-bearers were elected for tho coming year: President, Captain M. E. Danniston (Wellington); vicepresident and president-elect, Mr. I\ .Washburn (Tiniaru); chairman of the executive, Mr. J. N. Jtisliworth (Auckland); lion, treasurer, Mr. W. R. Keyburn (Auckland); honorary secretary, Mr. C. H. Mos:s (Auckland).
