Read, was held at the Trades Hall yesterday afternoon, when recent awards of the Arbi-. tration' Court were considered. It was urged that the judgments of the Court were in many cases not in accord-'with the weight of evidence submitted to it, and that general dissatisfaction was rife in industrial circles, not only in Wellington, but throughout the Dominion. A sub-committeo was set up, - Mr. L. M. A. Rearden being appointed secretary, to draw up analyses of the anomalies and injustices which, it was alleged, tho Court had imposed on unions recently appearing before it, and to report to a further meeting.
