AN EXCELLENT START. By TclßEraph—Press. Association. Christchurch, May 2i. At a meeting of the Christchurch Red Cross Executive to-night a cable message received showed the ' urgent need for a motor ambulance for New Zealanders at the front, also motor ■ repair shops and wagons. It was decided to start a national subscription, and the Christchurch Executive headed the list with .£2OOO, and the Red Cross sales depot, Christchurch, subscribed another .£IOOO.
