WHAT A CHRISTCHURCH DKNTIST SAYS ABOUT HIS STUDEBAKHR. IVc have made big claims for the Studebaker car on the score of its reliability, its simplicity, and tho ease with which it can be driven. The following letter addressed to us by Mr. R. Cowper, surgcoii- ■ dentist, of this city, demonstrates the kind of service the Studebaker will give in the hands of an owner who has had comparatively little driving experience. Mr. Cowper purchased a Studebaker car from us on November 30th last, and his first lengthy tour was one in the' North Island during the recent Christinas and JTew Year holidays. Concerning his experiences on that tour Mr. Cowper writes: "Just a few lines to toll you how thoroughly satisfied I am with my Studebaker car. As yon know, I took it away with me to the North Island, Mid went in nil.about 12C0 miles, over all tho big hills up in the north. Going from Wellington through to Napier over the Rimutakas. across to Pa'merston, Waneanui, ami New Plymouth, and baclc to Wellington over the famous Paekaknriki Hill, the car took all the big hills with the irreatest ease, and did not give me the slightest anxiety. All that distance it was not touched by anyone save to give it petrol and oil, and we did not oven have to put wind into the tyres. Yon will be surprised to hear that I brought the car over the Zig-zag from Lyttelton to Sumner, which says something for the oar and Hie way you taught me to drive." The Studebaker driven by Mr. Cowppr was, .of course, equipped with elch'ic relf-star-ter nnd electric 'lights. The new 1916 model Studeb.nkers will be to hand shortly, a first shipment being expected next verk. The prices of tho new models ar»: 2. r ) li.p. five-soater (including''electric selfstarter, electric lights, and full road equipment). «C 34. r >; 25 li.p. three-seater (snme equipment). ,£'335.
