YESTERDAY'S SITTING. ' The New Zealand Dental Conference continued its deliberations yesterday, Jur. A,- M. Carter, of Auckland, presid* The official report of the proceeding handed to the Press stated that the dis. cussion on the subject ,of dental EGrvicQ for recruits, which was commenced on luesday afternoon, was resumed tlie following motion being before the conference:—"That the scheme for the den. tal treatment of recruits is regarded by th© New Zealand Dental Association as an excellent opportunity for the members to show their patriotism, and, in 6ome. measure, assist their. Kin# and country and the brave men fighting for us; and also that, as the schemo lias worked so far Satisfactorily, members aie ready and willing to carry it on." It was decided to affirm, the principle with certain modifications," which were remitted, to a committee for consideration and a report. ; : . A schemo for the insurance of members and also several suggested alterations to the rules were also discussed.
