SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY.
At the Sailors' Friend Society last night a concert arranged by the Missioner (Mr. Moore) was given. Competitions were held at intervals. The Prohibition question was touched upon by the Missioner, and at the close of an enjoyable time a warm vote of thanks was accorded to the performers, Mr. lienner responding. Tho following contributed items:—Mrs. Renner, Misses Dodds, Henderson, Messrs. Walker, Scott, Adams, and Birtlo (Remuera), Davies and Murphy (Wakarau), Lincroft (Waimato). Miss Dodds'was pianist.
