ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
WATERSIDE WORKER INJURED. While working at the steamer Indralema yesterday morning, a waterside worker named Edward Beasley, residing in Aj-o Street, vas struck ou the leg by a. loaded sling. He was removed to the Hospital. The injury is not considered to be serious.
A SEAMAN DROWNED. By Telegranh—Tress Association. • • New Plymouth, May 22. A. seaman, named Leonard Lodder, a member of 'the crew of the Arapawa, was drowned at 'Opunake yesterday through a boat capsizing in the roadstead. : The body has not been recovered.
