"A FOUL MORAL TAINT"
NO MATING WITH GERMANS FOR A HUNDRED YEARS. Sir James Crichton Browne, speaking in London recently, under the Sociological Society's auspices, said that from this time forth and for 100 years !o come it should be considered eugenically disgraceful for any English man or woman to marry a German. . Tho history of this war had proved that the Germans were a depraved and morally degraded people. The robberies, the treacheries, the atrocities, the coldblooded murders and slaughters in which the. Germans had indulged for the last two years were not ascribable to the madness of infuriated or drunken soldiery or tho callous military policy of a military cjiste. They had lieen approved and apolauded by tho whole German Empire. We must therefore avoid any contamination with German blood. They were undoubtedly infected with a foul moral tnint, and it would, take three generations or TOO years to cleanse them of that taint. We could never forget German misdeeds. Those iniquities would be held in perpetual rcmcmbrance.
