Dr. liichter, Under-Secretary lor tho Interior, announced in the Reichstag that a large sum would bo available after the war for rebuilding the merchant fleet. Something in that direction had already been done. Workmen in the Imperial shipyards would be spared for tne purpose as far as possible.
